Day trips, weekend getaways, a few days of road trips… those don’t count.
I am missing those months of lazing around in familiar as well as unfamiliar places doing nothing…. or the planning of itineraries… or walking around in a different country and the excitement that goes with it. Well, for almost five years I have missed that, having my last overseas travel in 2018 (visiting Prague, Budapest, Vienna and small towns of Bratislava and Esztergom).
But now it’s nearly time to go and I am excited. It is still a week and a half to go but all my things are out and are ready to be put inside those luggages that hasn’t been used for years.
And from this place I captured this smile from a few years back in 2016.
