This is my last post on my trip to the Philippines. I am hoping and crossing my fingers and toes that another travel experience will be had soon enough.
Here are wooden doors in Vigan Ilocos Sur.

Some are well preserved…

And some needs some reconstruction… but the vintage look and exposed bricks give it more character.

Religious buildings near the Church.

The stained glass windows doors to the entry of our hotel in the centre of Vigan.

Inspired by Dan’s Thursday Doors Challenge
I like these, Teresa, including (perhaps especially) the ones showing a little decay. There is something ancient looking about the brick showing under the concrete overlay. My favorites are the stained glass doors.

I have not. That’s one of the things I like about this challenge. I get to see and learn about places I’d otherwise never know about.

Lovely wooden doors but the stained glass in the hotel ones is just fabulous, as are the floor tiles!

Thanks Sarah, glad you liked the hotel
where we stayed. It was a comfy and accessible place at the very centre of the province.
Sorry for the late response

It is a province in the upper north of the Philippines. Glad to share something new, Jo.

Love the doors and that you included the beautiful floor tilework. That design would make a great applique quiltblock! But for a more experienced quilter than I 😉

I think my favorite is the one you featured; the wooden gate on the yellow building, but they are all very intriguing.
